Head Mod / Organizer
(She/Her)

Mod Amber is the Head Mod and creator of the Tales of Teyvat Zine! She has experience in Illustration and graphic design. Though not within the Zine community Mod Amber has worked in business and has a few years of experience in handling and managing finances from her offline job.

Mod Venti has experience in running her own store/shop online, has shipped out items, formatted things such as acrylic charms and stickers from her own Storenvy or for giveaways during her time in the RWBY Fandom, although this will be her first time in a zine, she hopes to see you all soon!

  • 1.) This is a SFW Zine! We will not accept anything that is considered NSFW examples being silhouette of the vulva, vagina, penis, testicle, nipple, or anus. Swimwear/Beach wear is allowed however please follow the same guidelines listed above. Violence is allowed but please keep this to a minimum! Anything with deep cuts, missing limps or organs, exposed bone will not be accepted, we do accept blood, cuts/scratches or scars, however.

  • 2.) Our theme is fairy tale/fantasy-themed. This includes made up stories using the Lore from Genshin Impact, we ask if you use a popular fairytale that you can make it work within the world of Teyvat.

  • 3.) As some ships may be seen as problematic we will NOT allow shipping of characters in our zine. However you are free to use characters in a friendly or family like setting if you wish!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is a Zine?
A Fanzine or Zine is a fanmade, unofficial book for different fandoms spanning across many medias such as video games, anime/manga and even tv shows! It's usually created by Artists and Writers alike in an artbook like fashion.

Q. Do we need experience to apply?
No! You don't need any prior experience needed to apply so long as you're able to provide the Illustration/Merch/Written story for the zine! You also don't need to be a big name artist/writer to apply.

Q.Is this zine SFWor NSFW?
This is a SFW only zine, we will not accept anything remotely NSFW. This also includes things such as gore and sexual themes.

Q. Are ships allowed?
Due to some ships being seen as problematic we will no longer allow shipping within our zine. We do however allow characters to interact in a platonic/friendship way!

Q. Can we use characters who aren't in-game yet or not in-game?
Yes! You may use characters who have yet to be in-game or have been seen in the Manga/Webtoon for example.

Q. How many contributors will there be?
Although we are still in the planning stages and preparing for this zine, our aim is to start off small with roughly 20-24 artists, 1 cover artist, 3-5 merch artists and 5-7 writers.

Q.How will contributors be compensated? (Note: Subjected to change as we finish our interest checks)
Currently with how things are going, we do plan to at least compensate our contributors with a free PDF copy of the zine, if sales allow it we wish to allow each contributor with a full bundle package.

This may change as we finish our interest checks and may be compensated in profits split between everyone.
